about: This, the 3rd net EP, was the first written after setting up a studio that could finally, finally record drums. Until now, most IQ tracks didn't stray too far from a latin-esque, double acoustic guitar-driven aesthetic coupled with sequenced drums, but this release saw a move into heavier, looser territory.
I'd long been recording heavy rock under an alias, but with 'Rams had decided it was time to try and combine everything I liked playing into one single 'band'. It raised a few eyebrows, but ultimately this EP represents the point at which IQ became 100% true to itself.

And yes the drums are pretty wonky, but, before getting this kit, I'd only played on other people's on a handful of occasions, so 'Ram's is pretty much when I started playing drums. Still learning!
